I really enjoyed connecting with Eric and learning more about his story. He brought me to some of the greenhouses to show me how they prepared vegetable starts, and did so with such generosity and patience. We bought a bunch of things and decided to join their CSA. This is the kind of community business that we love supporting.

Stopped in two weekends ago because my partner and I love a farm stand. This is a whole indoor-outdoor storefront, with beautiful and abundant fruit/veggie/flower starts outside, and awesome products inside like fresh local produce/milk/eggs, gardening tools, cookbooks, jams, bath salts, and more! We left with armfuls of goods, including the most beautifully arranged bouquet we've ever seen (affordably priced and perfect for Mother's Day). The ladies running the show were incredibly friendly, personable, and helpful. We had a great conversation that had me smiling for hours. I love shopping local! πŸ’–

I've been a former member of Root Connection for 4 years now and was so sad to see Claire et al retire from the business. But when Alex and his crew came, I was so happy that he kept the UPick element from Root Connection and a lot of the produce was still the same which was wonderful. There were also great additions. The highlight in the summer was definitely the cherry tomatos. They were plentiful and so sweet, I can't go back to any other tomato again! Ecolibrium did so much to accommodate the members and they did amazing for their first run. They even heard our suggestions to switch the layout for pick ups where we can now directly pick from the bins. Kate and Helen are amazing and such a huge help at the front end of the store. They also stock from other local farmers. Their milk and chocolate milk is soooo good. I did the full share for summer and full share for winter. My suggestion for winter would be to decrease the price point and not have a UPick because it was challenging for me while pregnant to pick in the rain and I skipped a lot of UPick opportunities. I recall Root Connection didn't have a UPick either... maybe for the reason of bad weather. I personally might sk

What a great grocery/farm stand! New owners that are building out their dreams. Super engaging and putting in hard work with great products. How could you not support local farmers.

For years, I scoured area farmer's markets for vegetables and a decent tomato. Some tomatoes were decent, but never great. That was until I joined the Root Connection. I've been a member since 2018 and wish I would have joined earlier. Their produce is phenomenal and diverse throughout the season. It's been a great experience for both me and my children. I believe it is important for my children to know where/how their food is grown and they love the u-pick children's garden. I feel it is really important to support local businesses that share in your beliefs. Everyone who works their is friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there, which speaks to the environment of the farm that the amazing woman, Claire, who keeps it running so well!
